If only time machine is already invented, then the question about future such as the future of technology, businesses such as SEO, and life in general would be answered immediately. Since we can’t travel through the future times, then what we have are just predictions and speculations.

The future of SEO can be best predicted by studying on its changes over time. The future of SEO is all about change. The change may take place on search engines, search engine optimizers, and online marketing entrepreneurs.

When will the future be? Actually, start of the future greatly depends on when the Google will start to upgrade its search algorithm that will change everything, such as the trends of SEO.

Let me just provide you my speculations on the future of SEO.

(a) Google will still be leading the race of being the largest search engine in terms of the number of users and subscribers of its services particularly search engine marketing. The main reason for this is that Google is lucky enough to have such brilliant staff and team leaders who manage to update or enhance the capability of the search algorithm for the benefit of the searchers in giving them more accurate search results.

(b) Search engine spamming strategies will work no more. Because of the beneficial trend among search engines which is to give internet users the most relevant search results, spamming industry will die. I don’t think that the existing search engines will choose to be left behind by Google. Of course, they are always trying to beat Google by trying hard to update or revise their search engine algorithm.
