continued from More SEO Tips to Learn (Part 2)

Some of the SEO tips we have discussed from previous blog entries (Part 1 and Part 2) include (a) exchanging links with related websites, (b) writing informative content, (c) keyword researching, (d) writing unique web page title and content, and (e) employing keywords are not enough. There are more.

(f) You should use target market’s language in communication. Speaking in customer’s language is the best way of earning sales. You need to explain to them what products and services you offer and how these products can help them in their daily life. Using the language of your target market can bridge the regional differences between you and your client. Misunderstandings are avoided this way. Aside from that, you also help the search engines to understand your business, making your ranking better. This can be achieved by being specific in your choice of words. This is because search engines are robots; they cannot read between the lines.

In terms of what keywords to be used, it is also important to include area-specific ones. For instance, if you are offering computer rental services in Chicago, you may have “computer rental in Chicago.”

(g) Monitor your site statistics is an important task in search engine optimisation. Using tools to determine which keywords are leading more visitors to your website, which websites are delivering more traffic for your site, which web page is getting lower traffic and many other things are a great help. You may use SiteSuite or Google Analystics.
